Account Person

We need a leader, a steward, a brand champion and a trusted partner. We need someone that we can rely on to manage the client relationship and ensure profitability and always keep the ball rolling – for the client and the agency. We need an account person.

We aren’t calling this position an Account Executive or Director or anything in between, because we need it all in one. This account person should be experienced enough to manage their own client accounts, and disciplined enough to get his or her hands dirty. You’ll own the day-to-day client relationship, act as a strategic partner, manage budgets, and maintain order and workflow. Are you up for the challenge?


General Responsibilities

  • Own all areas of client relationship, providing internal and external client services and communication.
  • Attend client and vendor meetings and stay abreast of all objectives and activity by acting as a liaison for creative, production, media and traffic departments.
  • Evaluate creative, media and strategic planning relative to strategy, client preferences and a larger business picture.
  • Lead and activate the digital strategies for assigned clients, while overseeing the development and the execution of digital creative and media plans.
  • Understand, analyze and control clients’ allotted budgets.
  • Participate in the presentation and selling of creative and media plans.
  • Maintain accurate and accessible files on all client data, including invoices, estimates, work orders, marketing plans and research.
  • Facilitate collaboration and flow of information between all Agency disciplines on your accounts.
  • Assist in the proofing and preparation of all client material, including presentation materials, final copy, layouts and invoices. 

Required

  • 3 to 5 years working on account management for an advertising agency and being the primary point of contact with multiple clients.

Attributes

  • Should have experience working with clients on traditional and digital campaigns or web development projects. A strong literacy for SEO, PPC, Social Marketing and WordPress projects is a plus.

  • Must be highly motivated and believe that no task is too small.

  • Must be highly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize and re-prioritize tasks as needed.

  • Must be a creative, forward-thinking self-starter with an attention to detail and drive to produce consistent and quality work.

  • Should be energetic, organized and proactive with a positive attitude.

  • Must be a strong problem solver and quick thinker.

  • Must be detail oriented with a “zero-defect” mentality.

  • Must show respect for others and be consistent, fair and honest in all business matters.
